postheadericon A break from the ratrace in tuscany...

Todays lesson is on holidays and festivities in tuscany.

The festivities period, off from work, the break from the educational institutions - it's all a great time to go off on a familty trip. A fantastic location any old professor or student alike would enjoy is off course...Tuscany!

Tuscany is one of the most beautiful locations in the world, with many green, wonderfully smelling hills and great hospitality. In that respect, be sure to to check out agritourisme toscane, which is located in the wonderful hills of montaione

The Tuscany farmhouses are the complete packages for tourists like you and I. They give such wonderful arrangements that they staying in these farmhoudes feels like being in your own home.

Be sure to check out the neighbouring areas, such as sienna, san gimignano, volterra, and many more.

A good resource is also: http://www.turismo.intoscana.it/intoscana2/export/TurismoRTen/

Thats it for todays lesson the finer things in life...

Another lesson on tuscany (where I'm currently staying, hence the all the posts on this tipic. A venue you really don't want to miss when visiting the hills  of Tuscany is San Gimignano.  Tuscanians (is that a word? will tell you haven't been to Italy untill you have been to their lovely area.  With their fantastic hills, tasty food and great sense of humour, it's easy to see why they love their area so much.

San Gimignano has many things  to see, ranging from Firenz(the capital of tuscany), to the seaside, to the lovely, small tows in the golden triangle of Volterra, San Gimignano and Sienna.

When resiing in tuscany, don't forget to visit Belmonte - a beautiful location for your tuscany holidays.
